In addition to promoting our own work, true to our vision, we are also passionate about communicating great ESG leadership by others. By showcasing the great work by our clients, partners, and other parties in our network, we seek to further demonstrate the need for, and the benefits of ESG matters to the widest possible audience.

Our ESG thought leadership platform ‘Talking Sense’ is our publicly accessible platform showcasing exclusive interviews with some of the world’s most inspiring ESG thought leaders in our network. The initiative won a Platinum Award at the 2015 Hermes Creativity Awards, one of the most respected creative awards in the world.

We also present our own CSR initiative: the nonprofit Islamic Reporting Initiative. Founded by EMG and partners in 2015, the Islamic Reporting Initiative (IRI) is leading the creation of the world’s first ESG reporting standard based on Islamic values and principles. Potentially relevant in a quarter of the world’s countries, its objective is to enable organizations to inclusively assess, report, verify and certify their ESG performance and philanthropic programs in support of the UN Sustainable Development Goals and the OIC Plan of Action.
