An overview of some of the highlights covered until now:

CSR Newsletter March

In recognition of World Water Day today, we discuss this year’s theme of water and sustainable development. With 84% of global fresh water being used for food production, sustainable water management is very topical. We talk with EMG’s Founder and CEO, Drs Daan Elffers, discussing the current linear economic model for growth; is “thrown away” really “gone away”?

Furthermore, we look at the latest conversation during the “World Economic Forum’s Circular Economy Taskforce” meeting, and highlight the forum’s main topics. We also look back at International Women’s Day and celebrate gender equality.

The EMG Cambridge (UK) team visited Dubai and participated in cultural training at the Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Centre for Cultural Understanding’s “Open Doors, Open Minds” program. Find out what we did during our visit.

With 2015 being the “Year of Innovation” in the UAE, we look at EMG’s presentation given to the British University in Dubai, one of the region’s most innovative institutions, and discuss how innovation is core to sustainable strategies.

CSR Newsletter February

Since our establishment on 4th April 2004 in the Netherlands, our core belief has always been that business, when truly aligned with appropriate values, is in a unique position to produce an incredible and positive difference to the world.

We are fortunate in being able to work closely with governments and corporations in the Middle East and internationally in the design and delivery of long-term solutions through sustainable development and CSR strategies. We would like to share our knowledge with you.

Our first CSR newsletter is designed to showcase the potential and successes of the businesses which we have partnered, and also considers youth engagement, hospitality and healthcare strategies. In addition we are privileged to be able to bring you a one-on-one thought leadership interview with the former Minister of Information and Communications Technology Mr Omar Alkurdi, in the government of Prime Minister Marouf Al Bakhitthe of Jordan, on the benefits of e-services to society.
